Under the leadership of their father, Pastor Emaniuel Roberts, the group originated in Crescent City, Florida as “God’s Example.” Their style is reminiscent of groups like Commissioned, The Winans, and Men of Standard, with an urban feel. Day 3 is poised to become a household name in a genre that has not heard much of this style in recent years.
The name Day 3 is representative of God’s redeeming power in the lives of these four men. Just as Christ rose on the 3rd day, these men walk in the confidence of Christ’s resurrection.
